Well, it’s been a while. Shortly before Memorial Day Weekend, I was blessed (NOT) with a massive migraine which started a month long set of trials and tribulations, including some nasty reactions to medication, and a total let down of the faith in my Doctor.
Because of this, I’m Missing photos from the All Colorado ASC shows that were held.
Brodie was absolutely fabulous!! We entered 5 of the 6 shows that were held. Brodie definitely held his own there. He was awarded 1- Best of Breed, under Clair Gustafston (sp), 2-Best of Opposite awards, and 2- Premier 3 Awards. I’m not complaining here.
Then we fast forward to July 5th at the High Plains Fourth of July shows. This was fun. Cassie couldn’t attend the shows, so I just showed up hoping to find someone to show him. As luck would have it, Kaitlyn Scott from Utah happened to be there chasing Junior points.
For those that don’t know Kaitlyn, she’s an absolutely beautiful blonde young lady, because using the term “girl” just doesn’t seem right, anyway, Kaity showed Brodie for me at the two shows on Saturday.
She did a beautiful job with the nut job dog, and while they didn’t do anything at the AM shows under Deb Gower, at the PM shows under Ron Giese, they had a great show.
Kaite and Brodie were awarded Best of Breed, over 5 other specials. This is a nice win for us, considering the company he was in. Looking down the line were Hartnagle dogs, Calais/Carolina dogs, Adobe dogs, and Lyric dogs. This as you can imagine we were very excited about this win.
Now we sit and wait until mid August for the Greeley Kennel Club AKC shows.
